Janco said about 19,000 layoffs in the tech sector in July may result in even lower growth figures next month.
There have also been changes in the types of jobs shrinking, according to a recent report by Dice, which showed small increases in unemployment for Web developers and computer systems analysts over the last three months. Programmers, on the other hand, have only around 1.8% unemployment.
In terms of overall job fields, wages have been stagnant, according to the Janco evaluation. Tech salaries, however, are expected to get another boost in 2015.
