Deloitte announced a new collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build and host 20 preconfigured industry-specific analytics solutions powered by SAP HANA.

Deloitte also plans to launch an AWS-dedicated cloud practice with 2,500 practitioners focused on helping businesses change the way they work across organizations with enterprise applications such as SAP, analytics solutions and front and back-office systems.

Consulting companies report that services related to analytics, cloud services and other digital technologies were in particularly high demand last year, as were as services that can help businesses with technology for enhancing the customer experience. Consultants that can offer those types of services are likely to see the biggest demand going into 2017.
A collaboration between Deloitte, AWS and SAP could be powerful for enterprises. SAP has been leaning more into the cloud, adding AI and other tools that can allow businesses to get more out of the data that passes through their ERP system.
