The company’s data platform connects to CI/CD tools and summarizes key metrics, such as lead time and deployment frequency, enabling teams to find and remove points of friction in their deployment processes.

With CI/CD insights, Software.com’s data platform helps teams more effectively measure and improve their deployment capabilities by identifying apps or repositories with long build times and low success rates. Teams can also better keep track of merged pull requests, sorted by how long they’ve been awaiting deployment, which provides visibility into repositories with a large backlog of changes waiting to be deployed.

With developers spending less than one-third of their time writing new code or improving existing code, it has become vital that teams address elements of the developer experience that are often ignored or undervalued — like automating deployments to staging and production environments.
