Partners with XENON, NVIDIA and IBM to enable enterprises to move with unprecedented agility for the Extreme Data Economy
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - February 27, 2018 – Kinetica, provider of the instant insight engine for the Extreme Data Economy, today announced its formal launch into the Australian market. Powered by IBM Power Systems and NVIDIA, the joint offering from Kinetica and XENON will deliver business intelligence (BI), artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning solutions for ANZ enterprise and government customers.
“We live in the post big data era where enterprises are in a competitive race to move from the data-driven business to the data-powered business. This opportunity for creating transformational insight that drives differentiation across industries is critical,” said Joseph Lee, Vice President, Asia Pacific Region at Kinetica. “Working with partners such as XENON, NVIDIA, and IBM, Kinetica is creating an innovation ecosystem obsessed with helping businesses thrive in the Extreme Data Economy.”
"Only 20 percent of Australian businesses are using accelerated analytics to detect emerging opportunities. This presents a massive opportunity for enterprises to use data as the key asset for creating competitive advantage and defining category leadership,” said Raymond Teh, Vice President, Asia Pacific, NVIDIA. “Kinetica’s implementation of NVIDIA’s GPU technology helps provide enterprises with a real-time view of the business.”
In today’s world in which data is the business, ANZ enterprises that successfully leverage advanced analytics and drive data adoption within their organizations will be able to make more intelligent business decisions in real-time and power new services, and also gain a competitive edge in their respective industries.
“Extreme data is transforming industries including government, telecommunications, financial services and retail in ANZ,” said Philip MacLochlainn, Country Manager, Australia & New Zealand, IBM Systems. “Whether it is redefining the customer omnichannel, creating a 360-degree customer view, driving new business efficiencies, or using data to disrupt existing business models, data is at the center of everything. This partnership arms the data powered business with the ability to think outside the box and bring to market transformative offerings that elate customers.”
Kinetica is partnering with XENON to deliver its instant insight engine to complement the complete portfolio of XENON GPU-accelerated computing solutions, including technologies from NVIDIA and IBM. This solution allows applications to run significantly faster, as Kinetica leverages thousands of small, efficient GPU cores that are well suited to performing repeated similar instructions in parallel. XENON will also offer professional services together with a turnkey high performance GPU computing appliance to include processing and storage along with Kinetica’s insight engine.
Dragan Dimitrovici, founder and CEO of XENON said, “Our partnership with Kinetica will allow our enterprise and public service customers across the ANZ region to derive value and obtain actionable insights from their collected and real-time data. Our professional services and expertise will enable rapid and reliable integration of Kinetica software with best of breed high performance computing technology.”
Kinetica will be present at the Gartner Data & Analytics Summit, Booth S2 in Sydney from February 26 and 27. Customers in Australia and New Zealand can also visit www.xenon.com.au for more information on the XENON-Kinetica solution.
