Over the weekend, 54 nations meeting at a European Union mission in Geneva tentatively agreed to expand the number of IT products on which tariffs could soon be dropped to 200. The products include semiconductors, global positioning system devices and video game consoles, among others.
The WTO said they hope to have a final deal by the end of this week. The list has an annual trade value of approximately $1 trillion, the organization said.
