The hacked information, which included names, email addresses, birth dates, photos and passwords, was stored in a database for VTech’s Learning Lodge app store, used by many of the company's educational toys.
The arrest was made by officers from the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit. Police said they also seized electronic devices for forensic examination during a raid in an area of West of London known for its high-tech industry.
