Dive Insight:
New SaaS software from Oracle, called Commerce Cloud, may help CIOs looking to launch feature-rich storefronts across desktop and mobile devices do so quickly and at a reasonable price. Offered as part of Oracle’s Customer Experience applications portfolio, the tool includes features such as search and navigation, recommendations, promotions, reporting, payments, design templates and SEO, the company said.
Users of Oracle Commerce Cloud can adjust their sites as needed and preview site experiences with drag-and-drop tools before going live. Oracle Commerce Cloud can also be priced on a tiered usage model, based on annual storefront page views or on gross merchandise volume, according to the company.
