Oracle said SOA Cloud Service enables simplified management, automated upgrades, easy provisioning and the ability to easily scale out. It also supports hybrid integration, enabling users to migrate their integration platform from the cloud to on-premises and back again as business needs evolve, the company said.
Meanwhile, Oracle API Manager Cloud Service targets organizations that need to "quickly build or mobile-enable existing applications, integrate with the cloud or connect IoT devices with existing systems." It also enables developers to create new custom APIs and expose them to internal or external consumers in a secure way, the company said.
In June, Oracle introduced Oracle Integration Cloud.
Last year, IDC predicted that SaaS enterprise applications will be a $50.8 billion market by 2018. Salesforce.com, ADP, Intuit, Oracle and SAP represented 35% of the worldwide SaaS enterprise applications market in 2013.
