The new tool from Quattro allows SMBs to use financial planning and analysis capabilities; planning, budgeting and forecasting offerings; and tools for managing revenue and profitability — allowing them to track the current state of operations and potentially drive growth through predictive analysis and forecasting, the company said.

The business intelligence market is highly competitive and includes many players, said Dan Vesset, a program vice president with IDC. 13% of midmarket firms say they have some type of cloud BI solution, according to IDC.
