Yesterday, Microsoft announced cloud-focused agreements with 21Vianet and Unisplendour. The company said it will also work with China Electronics Technology Group, Baidu.com, Xi’xian New Area, and smartphone vendor Xiaomi. Microsoft also signed an MOU to work with Sichuan Provincial Government.
Chinese president Xi met with senior company executives and board members at Microsoft on Wednesday.
