In an increasingly threat-intense environment, as well as one in which business users are increasingly mobile, HP is betting business users will opt for its new Windows-based phone. The Elite x3 includes a 5.96-in. display and has a dock as well as a Mobile Extender device that extends the phone’s content to a larger display.
According to IDC, smartphone growth is expected to slow quickly over the next five years. However, many businesses are looking to create more mobile workplaces as more people use their smartphones, phablets and tablets as their primary device.
