Learning how to code can make a job candidate more marketable, demonstrating a widely-applicable, yet hard skill that employers demand.
But it can also improve communication, problem-solving, teamwork and digital skills, according to the volunteers behind National Coding Week.

To reflect on the role of software engineering in the enterprise, CIO Dive collected past coverage — from how to train for digital skills to the enterprise demand for talented developers — on coding trends.
