- The executive led Apple’s information systems and technology department, which oversees the company’s online services, manufacturing and website. During the tenure, Demby reported to Jeff Williams, COO at Apple, and managed David Smoley, VP CIO.
- The company declined to comment on the report or clarify who Demby's replacement will be.

Demby is one of three VPs departing Apple. Evans Hankey, VP of industrial design, Jane Horvath, chief privacy officer, and Anna Matthiasson, VP of online retail, have all been reported to be leaving the company.
Enterprise use of Apple products has been growing since the pandemic. In 2021, the prevalence of MacOS among companies with 1,000 employees or more was 28.5% compared to 15.3% in 2019, according to Forrester.
In October of this year, Apple announced that its client, United Airlines, was the first to get approval from the Federal Aviation Administration to digitize maintenance release documents using the Touch ID feature on Apple’s iPad.
